I've been reading a lot of Russian-Turkish stuff lately....

I've been reading "Caucasian Battlefields 1828-1921" by Allen and Murtoff. Great stuff on Russo-Turkish conflicts.

So I decided to make a map of an area that was fought over by the Turkish 3rd Army versus the Russians in 1916. It is 40" x 40" with 3/4" hexes. Each hex is about 2 miles. This would be good for a battalion-unit size game. Very hilly, wooded and rough country.

For those who desire a reference, Trebizond is about a 3/4 map to the North, while Ezerum is about 1/2 map to the East.
